Sing to the lord a wonderful song for he has done marvelous deeds.-Psalm 98:1

I will put enmity between you and the woman, and between your offspring and hers; he will strike at your head, while you strike at his heel.-Genesis 3:15

Today, we contemplate the immaculate conception of Mary. A sign of God’s goodness and glory in the life of one person, a sign predicted by the prophets and already in the mind of God from the very start. A sign manifested in time and who journeyed with God dwelling in his purity from her birth to her Glorious Assumption.

A young humble maiden who chose to be the Mother of our redeemer by her free will and who exist to be held in high honor for what God has done in her life through Christ. She alone enjoy this fitting privilege and was preserve from the taint of Original sin because of the merits of her Son our Saviour. This woman was always on the side of our Lord Jesus christ from the beginning and she enjoys with him in heaven.

As we journey on this earth, we are reminded to keep ourselves pure and without blemish before him as adopted son of the Father and God has given us a creature of his to contemplate on as she was one like us but exalted above us to be The Mother of our Lord Jesus Christ. Nothing therefore is impossible with God.

Hail Queen of Heaven(Beata Virgo Maria), the awesome beauty of God.

Deo Gratias
