My Happiness

My Happiness dwells not
In the Coins of My table
Neither in the Jar of Wine
But the honey from your words
My God

My Happiness dwells not
In the House I live
Neither in the Tv I have
But the Wealth of Your Grace
My God

My Happiness dwells not
In the talent I have
Neither in the writings I pen
But the Streams of Sacraments you gave
My God

My Happiness dwells not
In the education I pursue
Neither in the knowledge I run for
But the guidance of your Church
My God

My Happiness dwells not
In the Phone I use
Neither in the Internet I work with
But the Joys you have prepared for us
My God

You O Lord have made us for yourself
We are restless until we rest in thee

In You alone we find true Happiness

About Michael Ogundele

A writer, ardent reader and lover of nature. fell in love with writing five years back and I've been engraved in her arms ever since. I share my little way of writing poetry and reflections based on Catholic faith and Spirituality on this space. I hope you enjoy reading as we ride the same chariot to the leafy greens. Do follow me and together, let us jump into the ocean of my ink.
