RELATIONSHIP WITHOUT SEX: HOW POSSIBLE, HOW LASTING- CONTINUES

RELATIONSHIP WITHOUT SEX: HOLY RELATIONSHIP- May I say once again that sex has divine origin and so is relationship. Permit me to say also that the best expression of love and companionship between married couples is sex. Yet sex is not love. If you love someone(the opposite sex)- there is a natural and holy activity you can engage in. You can hold hands, you can have short hugs, you can sit on a porch and talk affectionately- but avoid been too alone. An idle mind is a devil’s workshop.

A girl who keeps her pride and who does not play around has nothing to lose. Many times, guys will come and beg that they should be allowed to have romance or sexual intercourse with you. Even when you have been saying no, they won’t stop the demand and they may want to make you look insensitive or unloving when they start saying “if you love me, let me have sex with you” Always remember that he who loves can wait till the right time and moreover, love is not sex, and sex is not necessarily love, even though it could be an expression of love.

Someone can have sex with you without loving you. Carry your parent along in your relationship, this will promote high sense of responsibility in both you and your friend. It is equally important to carry your parish priest or religious sister along. They will be able to guide you and your friend in a worthy manner.

In everything, work, live and share your love only in God. Live towards pleasing God in all your interactions. And of course, do not pity the other; rather encourage him or her to be strong. It takes two to be in a relationship and it equally takes two to have any form of sexual interaction. Live to assist one another in your journey to spiritual life.

Always remember that “it is God’s will that you should be sanctified: that you should avoid sexual immorality; that each of you should learn to control his own body in a way that is holy and honorable, not in the passionate lust of the heathen, who do not know God; and that in this matter no one should wrong his brother or take advantage of him. The Lord will punish men for all such sins, as we have already told you and warned you. For God did not call us to be impure, but to live a holy Life”. 1Thess 4:3-8.
