Where has the Reverence gone to?

Body of Christ

Body of Christ

At the elevation of the Host
During the Eucharistic Celebration
Of the Body and Blood that
Restored Humanity to heaven

An image in the Crowd struck
Me in utmost bewilderment
With bitterness and gloomy
Ices poured all over my body

Where The God of the Universe
Is raised for all to adore
And Pour out liquids from our Heart
In Worship and Prayers

A Soul was Busy staring at
The Screen with Microphone
Springing Forth Dark Music
That eclipse the Mind off Reverence

I ran temperature similar to the Sun
With thought flooding in me saying
Where has our Reverence gone to
When has God turn to this to us

Where is our attention of Worship?
At the Screen where bluriness occur
Or at the Music where nothing
But shallowness exist

We need to really, really
Stand out of this Digital age at times
And Show utmost Respect to
Whom Respect is due

For the Place of Worship is
Never a Place to diversify thoughts
Neither a place to render undue Sacrifice
But a Place of Reverence and Love

Where has our Reverence gone to???
