Whatever we ask

Tuesday, 7-1-2014

Readings for the day:

1John 3:22-4:6
Psalm 2:7-8, 10-11
Matthew 4:12-17, 23-25

Whatever we ask God, we shall receive, because we keep his commandments and live the kind of life that he wants.- 1John 3:22

St John in the first reading of today remind us of the richness of God’s giving to us, who are his people. For God is more pleased with us when we live the kind of life that he wants, and he is willing to give us everything we ask for through Christ our Lord in whom he has bestowed everything

In the Last reading of today, Matthew showed to us how Jesus healed his people showing us that there’s nothing on earth and in heaven he cannot do if we approach him out of love.

So, let us hurry to him like the Crowd did, though Many we may be, he attend to us in person out of Love for us.

May God grant us our heart desires through Christ our Lord, Amen.
