Calm Yourself

Wednesday, 8-1-2013

Readings for the Day:

1John 4:11-18
Psalm 72:1-2, 10, 11-12
Mark 6: 45-52

Reflection:

I saw a football match on TV some months ago, when Real madrid was actually behind with a goal, suddenly, Cristiano Ronaldo scored a goal and his style of jubilation was that he told the fans to calm down. This is a sign of assurance that all is well.

As Disciples of Christ on the boat to our final destination, Christ is aware that the storms of life is going to rock our boat, he is with us and assuring us that when this happen, let us be calm and take courage.

For God who is Love knows everything, all we need do is believe in his Love for us. This is a sign of assurance for us.

May God help us in this journey of life through Christ our Lord, amen.
