Reflections:

Create a Clean heart in Me, O Lord. -Psalm 51:12

After Seeking forgiveness and mercy from God, one thing became paramount which king David asked for from God, that which is a pure heart. For he knows that only the Pure in Heart shall see God. -Matthew 5:8

The Catechism of the Catholic Church stated it clearly in paragraph 2518 that “Pure in heart refers to those who have attuned their intellects and wills to the demand of God’s holiness, chiefly in three areas: Charity; Chastity or sexual rectitude; Love of truth and orthodoxy of faith” and it continues in 2519 by saying it is “the precondition of the vision of God; even now it enables us to see according to God, to accept others as ‘neighbours’; it lets us perceive the human body – ours and our neighbour’s – as a temple of the Holy Spirit, a manifestation of Divine beauty”. What else should we aim for more than this. That is why this beatitude is the one I love the most.

We should always lift up our voice to God for his graces to attune our all perfectly and solely to him, for it is only by his grace we can attain such a height of purity. For to be pure in heart is to have the eyes of God suture in our skull and the heart of God beating deep within. May we never give up in this race of purity, for we have a Teacher who is pure of heart and he calls us not to a lesser state than this.

May God who is of eternal purity grant us purity of Heart, we ask this through Christ our Lord, amen.

Peace and Love of Christ.

Happy new month my friends! I love and Cherish you.
