I seek for Inner Peace!

With my heart poured
On the plate
Like the blood of a goat
Running endlessly
Without pace
To be confined within
A sacred space

I look tired
Without walk
To find a destination
That permit my rest
With the veins bursting
Of fragmented fluids

With my inner cravings
Looking for shelter
It seems the more I look around
The more invisible it becomes

With my hands reaching
Into the face of the sky
I hope I find
The perfect hand to grab
For a rest

About Michael Ogundele

A writer, ardent reader and lover of nature. fell in love with writing five years back and I've been engraved in her arms ever since. I share my little way of writing poetry and reflections based on Catholic faith and Spirituality on this space. I hope you enjoy reading as we ride the same chariot to the leafy greens.
