Its a Year now already-Pope Francis

With my heart resting in the deeps
In the walls of Rome
A year in the elephant’s birth
As we await the white smoke
Leaping from the chimney’s nose
With its great pipe
To announce its arrival

You took the world
With your huge muscles
Strong feet on the grass
And your soft smiles
That arose dead leaves with
Your gentle call

Often misunderstood
You never stood to radiate
At your balcony
With thy self poverty
Surrounded with your little ones
you were called to rear

Your wave of lightening
From the lips of your quiet roar
Struck the buildings of every house
As all hurry to amend its crack

With Christ rearing our ship
As we watch the light
Of the evening
Break on our little faces
At the end of our life

We hope! We do hope
We gather with every hands present
To enjoy the sweet bread and oil
From the sacred banquet

Happy anniversary Pope Francis!
Viva il PaPa!
