Is the Lord your God???

Saturday, 15-03-2014

Readings of the day:

Deuteronomy 26:16-19
Psalm 119:1-2,4-5,7-8
Matthew 5:43-48

Reflections:

At baptism, we renounce the works of satan and we choose to follow God and his Church. we declare totally our submission to the love of God and the obedience of his statutes. If we truly love God, we would do what always pleases him.

If the Lord is our God, we will choose to renounce our evil ways and always seek to live a holy live! If the Lord is our God, we will follow his commandments! If the Lord is our God, we will Love our neighbors, not only that we would love our enemies and pray for them(for God allows his sun shine both on the good and evil)! If the Lord is our God, we would obey our superiors! If the Lord is our God, we would obey our parents! If the Lord is our God, we would obey and submit to the Church. I could go on and on, but the bottom line is; we should ensure we walk with God all the rest of our lives, so as to rest with him in the afterlife(that my friend, is the essence of our existence).

What’s the essence of existence to you?

Behold now is the acceptable time, behold, now is the day of salvation. -2Corinthians 6:2b

Glory and praise to you, O Christ.

May God help us as we walk with him.

Peace and Love of Christ!
