The Lord is our Guide

St. Francis of Paola

Readings of the day:

Isaiah 49:8-15
Psalm 145:8-9, 13cd-14, 17-18
John 5:17-30

The Lord who has created us out of our nothingness, would never leave us in utter darkness. he would always walk with us as a loving shepherd walks with his sheep. God the good guide can never forget his loved ones, never! his face is with us in our office, with our wives in the hospital, with our children on the playground. you name it, his face is always there. In the right time he revealed himself in the person of Christ in fullness and glory showing us perfectly how to reach the heart of the father and how to honor God the more.

His faithful love endures without end, not discriminatory in any way, filled with total generosity and unending embrace. His words can be trusted for ages without end as his rod is always there to lead us.

May we then move close to his Holy heart?

Peace and Love of Christ.
