More witnesses

Wednesday, 7-05-2014

Readings of the day:

Acts 8:1-8
Psalm 66:1-7
John 6:35-40

Modern man listens more willingly to witnesses than to teachers, and if he does listen to teachers, it is because they are witnesses. Pope Paul VI

The crowds press their ears to the message of Christ proclaimed to them by Philip because they must seen in him a witness to Christ, accompanied by the signs he performed. Clearly, not all of us can perform miracles but we can all strive to live a life that would call people to God; a life of joy and love that would draw praises to heaven.

The labour is rich, are we going to be part of the labourers?

May God help us always, we pray.

Peace and Love of Christ!
