St. Matthias

Readings of the day:

Acts 1:15-17, 20-26
Psalm 113:1-8
John 15:9-17

From the very beginning, God has every individual walking on planet earth in his divine heart inflamed with love. He has chosen us to share in his love, a love that is his nature. He has called each person by name to share in the goodness of his person and in its pure form, share it with others. The beauty of love is when it is being shared with others, love cannot be in isolation; whoever is in love with God, must not find it hard to love his fellow man.

A live full of love must manifest itself in its action. Who is the lover that expect his beloved to only read his heart or live only by his words but does not show his love to her by his actions? That’s so untrue of the lover(true love says ‘I love you’ by the actions it manifest, not only by the milky words). True love bears fruits, it bears good fruits by the service it renders to others.

God is love, and those who live in love live in union with God and God lives in union with them. I John 4:16

May we then ask God to help us stay united with him, united in love, so we can extend this same love to others, we ask this in his holy name, amen.

Peace and Love of Christ.
